Connie holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Tufts University and worked in commercial real estate for nearly 10 years. She left the corporate life to pursue her dream of baking professionally.
Connie studied both savory and sweet techniques at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in Massachusetts. She received the school’s high honors in both academics and lab work and was awarded the Julia Child Award for Dedication to the Profession of Cooking.
Upon graduating, Connie worked as a pastry cook under the esteemed chef Daniel Humm at the four-star Eleven Madison Park in New York.
Connie moved to Ridgewood in 2014 and is the mother of two young, energetic boys. Utilizing her skills learned in culinary school and the restaurant world, she soon started baking again. Both her elegant and whimsical designs caught the attention of the local community. Connie started Pretty Baked as a way to share her passion for baking through her delicious and beautiful creations.
